Hectic

Life has been rather hectic, but there will soon be activity here again. I have a few blog posts to get out of my system and myself and Krystal are working on getting round to experimenting with something a bit different in terms of content. I just felt this place needed a quick update to confirm that this place has not become a completely dead blog.

Look forward to new content, perhaps of varying sorts, later in the week.

Perhaps it wasn’t the Israelites that I was studying but it’s certainly good to be “done” with studying, for now at least. It’s always nice to get through a period of intense work and be able to start doing things you enjoy again. In the context of this blog this should hopefully have two benefits. The first is that I will be back posting again, though the place was in more than capable hands with Krystal being the only active contributor, the second is that I’ll be indulging more in my interests and hopefully have more to talk about.

On the subject of the blog, a number of readers have pointed out the rather large number of typing errors in some of my posts. I have to make an apology for this, a lot of my posts have been written either very late at night, or in short breaks from work. All of that meant that I wasn’t taking the time to proof read the posts before publishing. In future I’m going to try to keep on top of this, though I’m making no promises here. Similarly, I may start on a proper re-design of the place. Again I’m making no promises on that as it’s rather low down on my list of summer projects.

Finally, there are a number of things which I plan to post about in the near future. I still plan to review Foals debut album, and Life Processes by ¡Forward, Russia! among other things. Additionally there are some topics from gaming I’d like to cover if I get the chance. Anyway, I’m back posting again, hopefully it won’t be too long before my first proper post since I went on “sabbatical”.

Due to exam revision, things are going to be pretty quiet around here as far as posts from myself are concerned. I wouldn’t really expect much in the way of content until after the 13th of May, but there are a number of things I want to talk about. If I have time some posts will appear, if not you can look forward reviews of both Antidotes by Foals and Life Processes by ¡Forward, Russia!, my review of Aberdonian night life and the drive between here and there. Plus many more popular brands!

With that I say farewell for now, but I’ll be back.

Changes To The Site

The eagle eyed among you will have noticed that now posts are tagged with a by line as well as the date. This is because I’m experimenting with a few ideas to keep this blog full of content, even in relatively busy periods for myself. This should result in fewer noticeable fallow periods for the blog, and hopefully a more interesting and diverse range of topics for the reader.

The first addition to team Onebrow, egotistical as that name now seems, is Krystal. Krystal is actually “regular” (though how you can be regular after only a week, I don’t know) commenter Laura, and actually my real life girlfriend. As I’ve said her interests should hopefully complement my own and result in a much more diverse range of posts than would have been possible without the addition of extra authors.

This might only be the first of many additions to the team, it could be quite interesting to add the odd author or two to increase our coverage of subjects. That, is that for now though.
